This weekend was an absolutely awesome weekend despite a few minor setbacks due to poor planning on the part of FanExpo.
Thursday morning Jenn and I loaded up the car and embarked on our journey to the capital of Ontario Toronto!
Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised by how nice our hotel room was despite some of the comments on various hotel and travel sites that Jenn and I had read about it on. The room was clean, well kept and the decor was quite nice! We were quite happy with our stay and didn’t really have any complaints. I sent a text to Evan Oberman to see if he was in town to which he replied “Want to go for a ride on a yacht?” Hell yes we did!
The yacht was absolutely gorgeous, Evan & Co. were awesome to hang out with and Jenn and I definitely had a once in a lifetime experience. We could not have had more fun if we tried!
Friday morning Jenn and I headed down to the Royal Ontario Museum to check out the Terracotta Warriors exhibit which was very cool, and very informative. I even picked myself up a mini warrior! We then spent the rest of the afternoon shopping around downtown Toronto including the Eaton Centre.
Saturday morning was the day Jenn and I were headed to FanExpo….. and we were less than impressed with how poorly organized FanExpo was.
Saturday was probably the absolute worst day we could have chosen to go to FanExpo. The reason being is that FanExpo was completely oversold to the point of not allowing people into the building as it was way over capacity. Jenn and I waited approximately 2 hours in line to buy tickets to get into the event which I know is our own fault.
Now here’s the stupid part! Once Jenn and I had wondered the floor of FanExpo, we decided to step outside for a few minutes to have a smoke. We soon learned that we would be spending over an hour outside waiting to get back in due to overcrowding, over capacity, and overselling tickets. Jenn and I were absolutely pissed, but in the end we still managed to have a good time. We got to see some old friends (Evan Oberman, Geoff Lapaire, Jarett Cale, JeffTheWorld, and Tyrel McNicol) we bought some very cool stuff, and I got to meet Charles Band (Creator of The Puppet Master Movies).
The weekend was a lot of fun despite of how fucked up FanExpo was. There was just too much nonsense at FanExpo for it to be an enjoyable experience. First of all the autograph lineups intersected the food lineups so you couldn’t figure out where one line started and the other ended. Secondly the company behind FanExpo oversold the shit out of the venue and clearly were only in it for the money and not for the fans. The vendors on the other hand, were there for the fans and were very accommodating to their fans.
In the end Jenn and I managed to enjoy ourselves but unless something dramatically changes at FanExpo, Jenn and I will not be attending FanExpo again. FanExpo was fucked!

It’s been a while since I posted here on the bloggity! I decided today to take a look at my last post and realized it’s been about two weeks!
I’m a terrible blogger / vlogger. I’ve just been sooooo busy, and so caught up in other things that I never even realized I’ve been neglecting my blog and the readers that appreciate a fine post from a gentleman such as myself.
That’s right I’m talking to you DAD!
Jenn has gone camping for a few days leaving me to my own devices for a couple of days, and I’ve managed to accomplish nothing lol! I’ve just been playing video games, watching TV and taking it easy.
I really haven’t been uploading videos much and not because I don’t want to, but because I don’t want to post a video and have nothing to say. I really haven’t had much to talk about the last couple of weeks, as I’ve been far too busy with work, wedding planning, trip planning, and World of Warcraft!
Jenn and I finally got to check out the Scott Pilgrim movie, and I have to say I really loved it! I loved the cast, the story, and the humor in it all.
I especially loved the actor that was cast to play the role of Wallace (Scott’s Roomie). He made the flick hilarious!
Thursday Jenn and I will be packing up and heading to Toronto for a few days to check out some pretty rad stuff. Fan Expo, and the Terracotta Warriors exhibit at the ROM.
I’m super excited to go check all of this epic stuff out, and be back in a city that Jenn and I both love to visit!
I believe Jenn and I have finally settled on an invitation design. I really like the samples she ordered and I think people will be pleasantly surprised!
Right now I am just sprawled out on the couch writing this blog post while I wait for the new episode of True Blood to come on. The show is getting really interesting, and I’ve yet to be able to miss an episode.
While I’m bored, I think I will change the theme up on this blog a little bit. I’m starting to get tired of the look of it.
I hope you all had a great weekend!
Love Y’all!

Here’s the story of some very bad food, and a very inept manager who thinks she found a way to screw a system used to manage her and her staff performance.
Jenn and I went to Wendy’s last night at about 7:45PM for supper that we would bring home and enjoy.
When we arrived at the Wendy’s at the corner of Walkley and Conroy, we had an unusually long wait to order and pay for our food.
The car in front of us sat at the payment window for almost 10 minutes, while Jenn and I waited behind the lady.
After about ten minutes, we moved up to the payment window and paid for our food. In passing I kindly asked the cashier if the lady was having a problem with paying for her food. The cashier then informed me that her manager had instructed her to have the lady in front of us wait at the payment window because otherwise their drive-thru timer would start, and the management would see that their drive thru times are unacceptable. I laughed (in my head) and went about receiving my food and taking it home.
Now Jenn and I live about 4 minutes from this location, and I don’t think expecting the food to still be hot after a 4 minute drive is a wild expectation to have.
When we finally got home I dug into my burger and soon found out that the burger given to me had been sitting around for at least an hour. It was dry, tasteless, and dog food-like.
Very disgusting. Sorry Wendy’s…. you loose!

It’s been a long time since I first heard about the website Fiverr.com
The website is full of people that are posting what they are willing to do for you for $5.
The idea of the website is you can post up a listing of something you are good at for example Graphic Design, and people can order / use your services.
Today I finally decided to sign up and offer a few services of my own. You can visit my Fiverr.com profile HERE, and take me up on any one of my services.
If you’d like to place an ad on my blog, please feel free to contact me and we can make arrangements.
I really like how Fiverr.com works, and am now constantly trying to think of services to offer to the general public! So if you know something I am good at, please leave a comment and let me know if you’d like to order those services!
Hope you are all having an awesome Tuesday and I shall see you all tomorrow! Hopefully much less sickly!
As you’ve most likely deduced, there will not be a video post today because I’m sick and feel like absolute garbage.
Somehow over the weekend I managed to catch a cold, and it is totally kicking my ass!
There is one particular part of this whole “experience” that really drives me nuts, which I call the jumping nostril! The jumping nostril occurs typically during a cold, and basically blocks one nostril with all kinds of mucusy goodness and then quickly jumps to the opposite nostril. This happens for most of the day until bed time when both nostrils then become blocked. ARG!
Enough talk about the disgusting mucus cave my body is!
Jenn and I rented Kick-Ass, and while the movie was funny it wasn’t as funny as I hoped it was going to be. The same can be said for The Other Guys with Will Ferrel and Mark Wahlberg. It was a funny flick, but not as funny as I had hoped it was going to be.
Jenn and I also handed over a large sum of money to our venue today for the wedding, and it is now confirmed that the wedding will be held at The Lodge at Strathmere.
Finally Jenn and I will be putting down payment on our wedding bands, and for those of you who don’t follow me on Twitter here’s a link to what mine will look like.
I’m seriously stoked for this ring, and would like to thank Don at La Maison D’or at Place d’Orleans! He sat down with us and took the time to talk about what we wanted in the bands and how he would go about making them! Very cool!
Be sure to visit Don if you are looking for any form of jewellery and he will definitely set you up!
