Building a Business
The last couple of days have been rather busy, and really interesting!
After some lovely advice from someone who I really respect and admire, I decided to give starting my own business a try. That being said, it means I should have a lot more to write about here.
I can’t disclose a lot of information about the business I am starting, but suffice it to say that it will put my talents to use, and I think will be rather successful with the guidance from a mentor who I will not name before speaking with them.
I am very excited to get the business rolling, but really want as few mistakes and problems as possible. I find that this is highly unlikely to happen, as we have a fantastic mentor and a great team ready to rock.
We are currently working on the company brand, logo, and all of that fun stuff so I am really enjoying watching an idea come to life.
I’d also like to thank Paul Dukes (my partner) for all of the time and effort he is putting into this endeavor with me! He’s a fantastic designer and artist and when all is said and done, I’m sure we will have something to truly be proud of.
