As you all know, Paul and I have been working tirelessly on our business and making sure that it’s successful.

Paul and I have been going back and forth on Google Wave, and VIA email with respect to a logo and how we want to present ourselves.

To the right you will see the first ever concept sketch of our logo. It’s an initial drawing, and it will only get better with a splash of color, and some cleaning up.

I wanted to share this across my blog, as well as Twitter to get input from random people who may or may not use our services when we launch.

I absolutely fell in love with this little character when Paul sent it over to me! I think it’s a great way to put ourselves out there, and I think a lot of fellow geeks will love this little guy.

Anyways, this was more or less a post to share this little guy with the world, so here he is!

We finally have official email addresses, and are working on all of the fun backend stuff in the meantime.

Getting billing services online, support services online, testing testing testing! It’s a lot more work than I had anticipated and Paul and I butt heads here in there when it comes to services, support systems, and pricing we should use / implement.

We are working very hard to bring the best customer experience that we can muster.

On Saturday I will be attending the book launch of Viral Explosions, a new book by Peggy McColl to help you succeed in business.

I am very much looking forward to this event, and meeting a lot of very interesting people.

That’s all I can post for now, but I think I may be able to let the proverbial cat a bit further out of the bag.

After some lovely advice from someone who I really respect and admire, I decided to give starting my own business a try. That being said, it means I should have a lot more to write about here.

I can’t disclose a lot of information about the business I am starting, but suffice it to say that it will put my talents to use, and I think will be rather successful with the guidance from a mentor who I will not name before speaking with them.

I am very excited to get the business rolling, but really want as few mistakes and problems as possible. I find that this is highly unlikely to happen, as we have a fantastic mentor and a great team ready to rock.

We are currently working on the company brand, logo, and all of that fun stuff so I am really enjoying watching an idea come to life.

I’d also like to thank Paul Dukes (my partner) for all of the time and effort he is putting into this endeavor with me! He’s a fantastic designer and artist and when all is said and done, I’m sure we will have something to truly be proud of.

Keep your eyes peeled for more information! When we are ready to launch, a date will be announced here at my blog and the company website will be sent across Twitter, and Facebook, and any other social network we can get our hands on!
